Small canvas love

I escaped my family for 4 days earlier this month and while there did all the art journaling you saw in the previous post, along with this canvas done in a class run by the delightfully gorgeous Lisa Pate (http://lisakate.typepad.com/blog/)

I am tired of signing my name on works, so came up with this little “stamp” which I hope to have made into an actual stamp and put on all artworks and as a watermark.

Pretty cute, eh?

Quote from the retreat Welcome Pack….yay, love not thinking too much on retreat!

^^^Loads of texture again (love my raised bits)

Hope you are all finding time to get messy.
Honestly, I’ve not done anything since my retreat, but enough was done to give me about 3 blog posts’ worth LOL.

Yours in Messy-ness

  1. That’s gorgeous Giovanna!
Love the vintagy-looking colours, the house & the sentiment & definitely the raised bits! 😉
    Great idea re: signature stamp!

  2. Hey Giovanna! It must be time for us to connect because I finally found your blog. Crossroads and all that. I would love to come and check out that fabulous studio of yours. Oh the envy! Come on over to my place any time too- virtual or real!
