If you’d like to play along this year, go to A Year in the Life of an Art Journal. I’ve been half-heartedly playing for a few years now and the Creative Team are no short of EXCELLENT in interpreting the prompts and sharing their skills.
Here is the cover of my Art Journal for this prompt work.

It was given to me at a retreat in Byron Bay early last year. One of those “last minute” decisions to break out of what was comfortable (online forums instead of actually going out and meeting people) and find out what was really out there.
Well, I have never forgotten that weekend and I shall treasure it forever. The ladies I met have remained firm, supportive friends and I absolutely ADORE them!
So it seems fitting that the next “break out” moment should occur within the covers of this MAGNIFICENT journal.

There is still time to register your interest! Email Sherry (who is en-route from CHA in the States) at yourcreativejourney@live.com. If mixed media is not your thing, then how about an “out-of-this-world” scrapbooking experience with the delightfully talented Louise Nelson; or an innovative card-making class with Jane Clark?
Happy Creating!
