Lockdown had me thinking many things. Mostly how I took for granted, the simple pleasure of people dropping in. The giddy anticipation of the unexpected knock, door opening to outstretched arms bearing scrumptious morsels. The hiss of a kettle and the gurgle of the stove top caffetiera. The clink of dainty forks and spoons on fine crockery and amorous groans from ecstatic taste buds.
