Spritz Wars - Framed - 40 x 50cm

In the Italian Winter of 2018-19, four sisters feuded over which Spritz was more superior. The sweeter summery Aperol Spritz, or the sophisticated sourness of Campari Spritz. With two sisters in each camp (and a mother who wanted NO part), the war waged throughout the big cities and smaller towns throughout the country.

Every bar, in every town, the sisters debated the merits of both, dragging all and sundry to the discussion in their clumsy, childlike Italian, arms waving, hands in constant movement, chins pointed forward. There was no clear winner except the Spritz themselves, for many were sacrificed in this noble quest.
