An enduring classic, the Coconut Chair was designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller. Rumour at the time was that Herman was not initially a fan of George's vision, but eventually won him over with how comfortable it was. I'd like to think Herman had a couple of these around his home, and was well pleased with George's design. Is it just me, or does the paper used for the chair look like cow hide? My Dad covered some antique chairs with cow hide. It's polarising!!
