Welcome 2013!
I had planned this uber-insightful post about my word for the year and what it means, but that can wait for another day.
I’m more excited when I paint and when I get to share.
When I told hubby that I was buying *more* canvases I wasn’t quite sure where it was going. I’d done some prelim sketches, but on the whole, the outcome was a mystery. It had felt like years since I’d started with a blank canvas (pun intended) so naturally my confidence was a little fragile.
But I persevered, formulating a plan, recalling what it was that I loved about this process so much, revisited some of my favourite artworks and began laying it all down.
And some hours later, these 2 lovelies emerged!
Happy indeed and confidence restored.
