I’m gearing up for The Handmade Expo so the MadeIt shop will be in “holiday” mode from lunchtime Friday until about Tuesday. This will give me enough time to adjust stock items manually or remove items altogether.

There will be food, drink, craft ALL HANDMADE….no factory or imported stuff. The person at the stall will usually be the person who MADE the items. That sets it apart from most Markets I’ve strolled around.
Oh, and did I mention that the Annual Firefighter’s Calendar will be on sale? If you come between 9 and 11am you might spy a very very Firefightery person selling them. I suspect they will be fully clothed but I have it on good authority that the calendar images are prettttty darn good!
And that’s all you’re getting. You’ll have to just turn up on Saturday {{wink wink}}

People love handmade because it has a real sense of place, purpose and personality – aren’t we all exhausted of two dollar shops and the plasticky stuff?
